I often need a quick reference about a certain technology or programming language. While you can lookup this information on your computer, it is also convenient and often much quicker to have this information quickly available physically on nice gorgeously looking reference cards.
Recently, I got a laminator (see picture) and with it I can create very beautiful reference cards of for example: design patterns, css, html, angular, etcetera. By laminating these cards, they remain unfolded and clean. Above all: they look awesome and are a pleasure to work with.
You can easily make these reference cards yourself by buying a laminator and laminator sheets and look on internet for sites offering these reference cards as a download. I’ve registered at Dzone. They offer a lot of nice reference cards (which they call Refcardz) and guides for free. Just print and laminate them, put them in a binder and you’ve got a nice collection of quickly accessible information. Have fun!
